Soccer Game Preview: Victor Valley vs. Granite Hills

Victor Valley is 0-10 against Granite Hills since January of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Victor Valley Jackrabbits will venture away from home to take on the Granite Hills Cougars at 4:30 p.m.

Victor Valley managed to keep up with Barstow until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Victor Valley came up short against Barstow, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that the Jackrabbits have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills' and Adelanto's game on Friday was close at halftime, but Granite Hills turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. Everything went Granite Hills' way against Adelanto as Granite Hills made off with a 4-1 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

Lianna Tsabur and Isabella Cerda scored all four of Granite Hills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Victor Valley and nudges their season record down to 6-5-1. As for Granite Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Victor Valley might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Granite Hills when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Victor Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
