Softball Recap: Seaford Takes a Loss

If Seaford was feeling good fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Sts. Peter & Paul on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluejays lost 21-4 to the Delmarva Christian Royals on Friday. The Bluejays have struggled against the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Seaford saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn Evans, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Ariyanna Lake also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Seaford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Delmarva Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Seaford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Delmarva Christian has already played their next contest (against Sussex Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
