Basketball Recap: Rabun County Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Rabun County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Athens Academy Spartans 54-38 on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Spartans are ranked 72nd).

Rabun County now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Athens Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-7.

As of now, neither Rabun County nor Athens Academy have any future games scheduled.
