Basketball Recap: Louisville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Louisville can now relate to. They took a hard 41-23 fall against the Avon Lake Shoremen on Wednesday. The match marked the Leopards' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Louisville's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Avon Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Louisville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Avon Lake, they will square off against Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westlake will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Avon Lake surely won't give up without a fight.
