While Minerva's win against Edison wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wildcats 4-2. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats on Monday, too.

Brendon Huth tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Owen Frazier, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Minerva now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Edison, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minerva will challenge Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Quakers at the right time seeing as the Quakers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Edison, they will face off against Weir at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
