Basketball Recap: Chiawana Skates Past Lewis & Clark with Ease

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chiawana walked away with it. They really took it to the Lewis & Clark Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-47 victory. The Riverhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Chiawana pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.7 points over those games. As for Lewis & Clark, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.

Looking ahead, Chiawana will venture away from home to challenge Mead at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mead knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 games -- so hopefully Chiawana likes a good challenge. Lewis & Clark does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
