Volleyball Game Preview: West Henderson Falcons vs. Franklin Panthers

After both having extra time off, the West Henderson Falcons and the Franklin Panthers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for West Henderson and four for Franklin.

Last Monday, West Henderson didn't have quite enough to beat North Henderson and fell 3-2. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-13 in the first set.

West Henderson actually scored more points across those five sets (100-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-18, 25-21, 17-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Franklin came up short against Pisgah two weeks ago, falling 3-0.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Henderson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
