Basketball Game Preview: Byron Tigers vs. Rochelle Hubs

Byron is on a three-game streak of home losses, Rochelle a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Byron Tigers will welcome the Rochelle Hubs at 6:45 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Byron is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest victory since January 24th on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 70-45 margin over North Boone. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Rochelle didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Winnebago on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 74-68 victory.

Byron's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Rochelle, their victory bumped their record up to 10-19.

Byron took their win against Rochelle when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 87-65. Will Byron repeat their success, or does Rochelle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
