Basketball Recap: Brookwood Find Success

Brookwood hadn't done well against Cashton recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Brookwood Falcons had just enough and edged the Cashton Eagles out 55-52. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 69-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

Brookwood's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Cashton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Looking ahead, Brookwood is taking a road trip to square off against Necedah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cashton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hillsboro has four straight wins, Cashton has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
