Snyder skates past Big Spring with ease

Recap: Snyder Tigers vs. Big Spring Steers
The Snyder Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 78-30 victory over Big Spring at home. The win was just what Snyder needed coming off of a 59-31 loss in their prior matchup.
Leading Snyder to victory were Jayci Medrano and Neveah Torres. Medrano scored ten points along with five assists and five steals, while Torres scored 12 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Torres has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Murray, who scored nine points.
Snyder is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-15 record this season. As for Big Spring, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snyder will stay at home for another game and welcome Sweetwater at 6:15 p.m. on January 16th. Big Spring will take on Lake View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake View is hoping to put an end to an 11-game streak of away losses.
