Soccer Recap: Arvada vs. Alameda
Arvada fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They won by a goal and slipped past the Alameda Pirates 3-2.

Diego Mendez scored all three of Arvada's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.
Arvada's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Alameda, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arvada will square off against Sheridan at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Arvada is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Alameda, they will head out on the road to challenge STEM School Highlands Ranch at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
