Volleyball Recap: Seymour Takes a Loss

Seymour lost against Fordland back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

When it comes to explaining why Seymour lost, don't look at Elianna Wallace. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs. Kallie Benson also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14-1. As for Fordland, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Seymour wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Gainesville on the 11th. As for Fordland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Plato on the 11th.
