Dakota Valley extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Katie Betsworth. The Dakota Valley Panthers came out on top against the Groton Tigers by a score of 50-40 on Saturday thanks in part to Betsworth, who posted 16 points and six boards. Those 16 points gave her a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Cameryn Sommervold, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played.

Dakota Valley's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Groton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dakota Valley will square off against Tri-Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Groton, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Groton Tigers face off against the Northwestern Area Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
