Basketball Game Preview: Smyrna Bulldogs vs. Wilson Central Wildcats

Having just played yesterday, the Smyrna Bulldogs will get right back to it and host the Wilson Central Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Smyrna will be strutting in after a victory while Wilson Central will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with 12 defeats in a row, Smyrna turned things around against Knowledge Academies on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Knowledge Academies 51-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bulldogs have posted since December 8, 2023.

Meanwhile, Wilson Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Stewarts Creek, falling 53-31. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wilson Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Smyrna, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12.
