Basketball Recap: Taesian Soto Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat North Central

There's no place like home for Central Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They strolled past the North Central Knights with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 56-38.

Central Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Taesian Soto out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. Boston Wood was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

Central Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for North Central, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Central Valley will host Nebraska Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Central, they will venture away from home to take on West Holt at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th.
