Volleyball Recap: Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Takes a Loss

Vernon-Verona-Sherrill lost against Sauquoit Valley back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils fell 3-1 to the Sauquoit Valley Indians. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vernon-Verona-Sherrill was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Sauquoit Valley work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 18-25, 25-17, 25-11.

When it comes to explaining why Vernon-Verona-Sherrill lost, don't look at Nolan Wood. Despite the final result, he had 37 assists and four digs. Wood is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season.
