Soccer Recap: Panther Creek Takes a Loss

Panther Creek lost against Celina back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panther Creek Panthers lost 5-1 to the Celina Bobcats. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Panthers were already down 3-0.

Panther Creek has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. The win was the 17th in a row for Celina, bringing their record for this year to 20-1.

Panther Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Celina, they will challenge Poteet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Celina knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Poteet likes a good challenge.
