Basketball Recap: Glades Central Takes a Loss

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Glades Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were dealt a 64-17 defeat at the hands of the Wellington Wolverines. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Glades Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Wellington, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Glades Central will square off against Royal Palm Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wellington, they will challenge Palm Beach Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.44 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
