Volleyball Recap: Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] Takes a Loss

Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 3-16. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Velva Aggies. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Aggies this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

As for Velva, their victory bumped their record up to 15-11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since September 23rd.

Velva was led to victory by Keely Cadwell and Braleigh Anhorn. Cadwell had ten digs and five aces, while Anhorn had nine digs. Those five aces gave Cadwell a new career-high.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] will venture away from home to face off against Parshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Velva, they will head out to take on Surrey at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
