Recap: Muleshoe Mules vs. Snyder Tigers
On Saturday, Muleshoe was able to grind out a solid victory over Snyder, taking the game 47-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Muleshoe.
Muleshoe was led to victory by Adam Alarcon and Sebastian Kirven. Alarcon scored 13 points along with 5 assists, while Kirven dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Alarcon's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Sergio Magallanes was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 4 steals.
The win got Muleshoe back to even at 2-2. As for Snyder, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muleshoe will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bovina at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Snyder will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Midland at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Midland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Snyder in Texas (Midland is ranked 374th, while Snyder is ranked 1479th).
