Basketball Recap: Kaden Veldman and Dawson Hintz Secure Win for Lynden Christian + How To Watch

Lynden Christian won against Mount Vernon on Tuesday with 70 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Lyncs walked away with a 70-60 victory over the Lummi Blackhawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lyncs.

Lynden Christian was led to victory by Dawson Hintz and Kaden Veldman. Hintz went 12-for-19 on his way to 29 points and eight boards, while Veldman shot 50% from the field en route to 15 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Harvest Howell, who posted seven points and five assists.

Lynden Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lummi, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Lynden Christian and Bellingham will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Lummi will take on Friday Harbor in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blackhawks will be up against the Wolverines' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
