Flint River Academy suffers 11th straight loss on the road

Recap: Flint River Academy Wildcats vs. St. Mary's Academy
The Flint River Academy Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by St. Mary's Academy 64-31.
Despite the loss, Flint River Academy saw an underclassman step up: Cole Riner scored seven points along with five rebounds. Brody Howard was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Flint River Academy bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for St. Mary's Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flint River Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Mary's Academy at 2:15 p.m. on January 6, 2024. St. Mary's Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Atlanta Jewish Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 19th.
