Basketball Game Preview: Clarksville Christian Centurions vs. Tournament Team

The Clarksville Christian Centurions and Tournament Team will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday without much rest having both just played. Clarksville Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season.

Clarksville Christian's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Saturday's struggle, when Tournament Team offense got past them. Clarksville Christian fell 58-45 to Tournament Team on Saturday. The Centurions' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Lauren Hassell, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. The contest was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Niah Rhodes, who went 7 for 16 on her way to 20 points.

Even though they lost, Clarksville Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Clarksville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Tournament Team, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
