Despite the loss, Pascagoula still got an impressive performance from Amarie Jackson, who rushed for 125 yards and two TDs on only 15 carries, and also picked up 44 receiving yards. The Panthers are 5-2 when Jackson posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise.
Davion Young was his usual excellent self, rushing for 80 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries, while also picking up 89 receiving yards and one score for Hattiesburg. Josh Marshall was another key player, gaining 103 total yards and a touchdown.
Pascagoula's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Hattiesburg, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
