Football Recap: Pascagoula's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pascagoula can now relate to. They took a hard 35-20 fall against the Hattiesburg Tigers on Friday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Pascagoula still got an impressive performance from Amarie Jackson, who rushed for 125 yards and two TDs on only 15 carries, and also picked up 44 receiving yards. The Panthers are 5-2 when Jackson posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise.

Davion Young was his usual excellent self, rushing for 80 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries, while also picking up 89 receiving yards and one score for Hattiesburg. Josh Marshall was another key player, gaining 103 total yards and a touchdown.

Pascagoula's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Hattiesburg, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Pascagoula does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hattiesburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 47-27 win against Picayune on the 28th.
