Soccer Recap: El Paso Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, El Paso was not quite Reedy's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Reedy Lions by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, El Paso fell to 2-1-1. As for Reedy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

El Paso will head out on the road to take on Hanks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. El Paso's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Hanks' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Reedy, they will take on Memorial in a tournament on Thursday. Memorial's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
