Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta strolled into their game  on Friday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles as they made off with  a  22-3 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2024.
 Riley Asmus was a  major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). Asmus was even better at the plate,  firing off three  home runs, ten  RBI,  and five  runs while going 5-for-5. Those  three  home runs gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Justin Giese was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  two  hits gave  him a new career-high.  Drew Huebner was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and three  runs.
 Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .610. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta's victory was  their seventh straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Lac qui Parle Valley,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-6.
