Zach Mehess was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Mehess was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Mehess wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Arguello, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

On Pueblo South's side, Caeden Hererra spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits.
