Basketball Recap: Pima Roughriders vs. Benson Bobcats
Pima had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 59-25 win over the Benson Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Roughriders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pima to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kelsi Brimhall, who had ten points in addition to seven steals. Sadie Richardson was another key player, going 6 for 14 en route to 12 points plus seven rebounds and five steals.
Benson's loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Pima has already played their next matchup, a 52-22 victory against Round Valley on the 7th. As for Benson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 34-30 win against Lincoln Prep on the 5th.
