Softball Recap: Tornillo Comes Up Short

Tornillo fell victim to Kermit and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 14-0 to the Kermit Yellow Jackets. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Tornillo's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Kermit, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.

Coincidentally, Tornillo and Kermit will both be playing Anthony the next time they take the field. Tornillo will head out to face Anthony at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Kermit will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
