Softball Recap: Fayette Ware Comes Up Short

Fayette Ware fell victim to Haywood and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Tomcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Tomcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Fayette Ware's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Haywood, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fayette Ware will venture away from home to take on Liberty Tech Magnet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Haywood, they will face off against Bolivar Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
