Basketball Recap: West Boca Raton Comes Up Short

West Boca Raton came up into this matchup off a tough 23-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Boca Raton Bobcats by a score of 44-42 on Monday. The Bulls haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, West Boca Raton still got an impressive performance from Brianna Morgan, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 boards gave Morgan a new career-high. Sophia Krefsky was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Even though they lost, West Boca Raton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

West Boca Raton's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Boca Raton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.
