Basketball Recap: Hinckley-Finlayson Comes Up Short

Hinckley-Finlayson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Pierz Pioneers, falling 80-45. The Jaguars lost against the Pioneers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 58-46 score last time.

Hinckley-Finlayson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Pierz, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jaguars take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pierz has already played their next contest (against Milaca), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
