Baseball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland lost against Ripley back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Woodland came up short against Ripley, falling 11-3.

Woodland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Patrick Freeman, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Khamdyn Patterson was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Ripley, the win keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

Coming up, Woodland will challenge Watonga at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ripley, they will be playing at home against Dover at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
