Baseball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Roland-Story Norsemen, falling 18-3. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Norsemen this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-1 loss on Thursday.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Roland-Story, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Roland-Story beat Perry by a score of 12-1 later that day.
