Basketball Game Preview: Winters Blizzards vs. Colorado Wolves

The Winters Blizzards will challenge the Colorado Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Winters and 11 for Colorado.

Last Tuesday, Winters lost to Roscoe on the road by a 54-35 margin. While losing is never fun, the Blizzards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1435th, while the Plowboys are ranked 499th).

Colorado played against Ballinger and lost via forfeit.

Winters' defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Colorado, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Everything went Winters' way against Colorado in their previous meeting back in January, as Winters made off with a 67-41 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Winters since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
