Baseball Game Preview: Madisonville Mustangs vs. Palestine Wildcats

The Madisonville Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Palestine Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madisonville is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Madisonville didn't have quite enough to beat Rusk and fell 9-8.

Izaiya Drake was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Those hits marked the first that he has got this season. Malik Kovar was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Palestine took on Bullard on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madisonville now has a losing record of 13-14-1. As for Palestine, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-8-1.
