Auburn has gone 9-1 against Beauregard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Tigers will host the Hornets  at 5:00  p.m. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (Auburn 3.8, Beauregard 3.9) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
While Auburn's  win against Smiths Station wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-2  victory over the Panthers  on Thursday. The  win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three  matches in a row.
 Mary Alderson Grace looked comfortable as she  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 16 consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Alivia Harris was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run. Another player making a difference was  Daley Alsobrook, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  double.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of three wins, Beauregard's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They fell just short of Moody by a score of  6-5.
 Beauregard's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Auburn, their victory bumped their record up to 21-14.
 Auburn beat Beauregard 7-2  in their previous meeting  back in March. Do  the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
