Baseball Game Preview: Sterling Golden Warriors vs. Sycamore Spartans

The Sterling Golden Warriors will challenge the Sycamore Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sterling is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 10th on Friday. They came up short against Dunlap, falling 10-3. The loss continues a trend for the Golden Warriors in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Sterling saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Monarrez, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Sycamore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to Morris.

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 12-19. As for Sycamore, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.
