Softball Preview: Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions vs. Fern Creek Tigers        
        
		
            
 Christian Academy-Louisville has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  take on the Fern Creek Tigers at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Christian Academy-Louisville will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last.
 On Monday,  everything went Christian Academy-Louisville's way against Christian Educational Consortium as Christian Academy-Louisville made off with  a  13-3 victory.
  Makenzie King made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   eight  hits. King was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-5 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Allie Carter, who  went 3-for-4 with four  runs, three  doubles,  and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Cora McDearmon, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5.
 Meanwhile, Fern Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Atherton on Monday and fell  2-1. Fern Creek has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Christian Academy-Louisville's win  ended  a  seven-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-13. As for Fern Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
 Christian Academy-Louisville might still be hurting after the  15-2 defeat they got from Fern Creek  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2021. Can Christian Academy-Louisville avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
