Volleyball Recap: West Anchorage Comes Up Short

West Anchorage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dimond Lynx. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lynx this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Puao Asailevai was the offensive standout of the match as she had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last two contests.

West Anchorage's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Dimond, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

West Anchorage has already played their next matchup (against South Anchorage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dimond, they have also already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Kenai Central on the 27th.
