Softball Recap: River Falls Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for River Falls's offense. They came up short against the Chippewa Falls Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost four in a row.

River Falls' loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Chippewa Falls, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-12.

While River Falls had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
