Buckley hadn't done well against Frankfort recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. The victory was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Buckley's got stronger as the match went on, holding Frankfort to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-16.

Buckley's win bumped their record up to 16-5-1. As for Frankfort, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Buckley will head out to take on Brethren at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Frankfort, after both having extra time off, they and Ellsworth will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
