Baseball Game Preview: Thorsby Rebels vs. Lee-Scott Academy Warriors

For the second straight game, Thorsby will face off against Lee-Scott Academy. The Rebels will take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games Thorsby has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Thorsby is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lee-Scott Academy, sneaking past 4-2.

Aiden Seeley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cooper Davenport, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Thorsby has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-9-3 record this season. As for Lee-Scott Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-10.
