Soccer Recap: Palm Desert Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Palm Desert was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the La Quinta Blackhawks could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Palm Desert's draw makes their record 8-8-4 this season. Meanwhile, La Quinta's record is now 9-7-2.

Palm Desert will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Rancho Mirage at 5:30 p.m. As for La Quinta, they will face off against Palm Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. La Quinta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.
