Volleyball Game Preview: Hillcrest Huskies vs. West Jordan Jaguars

Hillcrest is 0-5 against West Jordan since August of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Huskies will square off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hillcrest comes in on three and West Jordan on four.

On Thursday, Hillcrest beat Kearns 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-27, 25-18.

Meanwhile, West Jordan made easy work of Granger on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant West Jordan was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-6, 25-11.

West Jordan's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Hillcrest, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Hillcrest came up short against West Jordan in their previous matchup back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
