Basketball Game Preview: Jenkintown Drakes vs. Dock Mennonite Pioneers

Jenkintown hasn't had much luck against Dock Mennonite recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Jenkintown Drakes will venture away from home to square off against the Dock Mennonite Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Jenkintown is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Wednesday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-46 heartbreaker at the hands of Morrisville.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Mason Steuber, who posted 11 points. Judah Jackson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Dock Mennonite has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 65-53 to Phoenixville on Saturday.

Jenkintown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Dock Mennonite, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Jenkintown came up short against Dock Mennonite in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 46-36. Can Jenkintown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
