Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennedy Catholic). They blew past the Fontbonne Hall Academy Bonnies 68-36 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Gaels sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Kennedy Catholic can attribute much of their success to Ashari Emuze, who posted 19 points. Emuze's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Jaya Oliva was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Kennedy Catholic pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Fontbonne Hall Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Kennedy Catholic will square off against St. Joseph Hill Academy at 12:45 p.m. on January 25th. As for Fontbonne Hall Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Edmund Prep at 5:45 p.m. on January 29th.
