Danville extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Emma Ancelet. The Danville Warriors walked away with a 75-67 win over the Wood Memorial Trojans on Friday thanks in part to Ancelet, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Danville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Wood Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Danville and Evansville Reitz will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Wood Memorial, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Loogootee at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
