Soccer Game Preview: Lowry vs. Fernley + How To Watch

The Lowry Buckaroos will head out to square off against the Fernley Vaqueros at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fernley will have to contend with a Lowry squad hungry for a win, something the team hasn't seen since September 27. Lowry and Churchill County finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Fernley's offense. They lost 6-0 to Spring Creek on Friday. Fernley have struggled against Spring Creek recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Fernley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-3. Lowry's draw gives them a new season record of 2-11-5.

Lowry was able to grind out a solid victory over Fernley in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buckaroos since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
