Softball Recap: Tohatchi Comes Up Short

If Tohatchi was feeling good fresh off their 12-6 takedown of Lordsburg on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars lost 20-5 to the Loving Falcons on Saturday. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Tohatchi's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Loving, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Tohatchi has already played their next match, a 17-3 win against Thoreau on the 8th. As for Loving, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 22-1 victory against Eunice on the 5th.
